Tucson and Elder Wilstead!

So I am in Tucson again! I am with a young guy named Elder Wilstead. We opened up a former area in the Los Reales branch. It shares a building with the Sahuaro branch, my first area. We are in a car share and on bikes.

Monday: So we had lunch with the district at Tacos Mirasol! Then we went and saw Daniel and Maneli to celebrate her birthday and to say goodbye. Then we said goodbye to other people then we had dinner with the Quintana family. They are like parents/grandparents. We did a whipped cream thing that Elder Elton showed us.

Tuesday: We did studies then I got on a truck with other missionaries to go to Tucson. Then I met up with Elder Wilstead and we worked with the housing missionaries to get stuff for our apartment. We were running around a ton to set up our apartment, get my luggage, clean, shop, and unpack. It ended up being a late night.

Wednesday: The car for the area was disgusting so we spent the morning cleaning it. We had a zone breakout then district meeting. It went well then we all went out to lunch together. After we did a lot of input into the Area Book Planner. Basically, transfering all the info we have on paper into data on a missionary app to keep track of people.

Thursday: This morning we did service at a food bank then area book input. We then had dinner at home then had a coordination meeting with the mission leader.

Friday: Today we helped a member make a funeral program. Then we went walking to find potentials and we met some very interesting people.

Saturday: We did some yard service then we went to a funeral. The. We had a great dinner with a member then we went to a baptism.

Sunday: Church went well. We then had a lesson with a guy named Jose and he is awesome! We set a baptismal date with him and he accepted!

Sorry for the poor description of the week! Hope you all have a great week!

Love,

Elder Dallin Baker
