Holy Milagros!

This week was a great one! We saw tons of miracles (Milagros in Spanish) this week!
It was a great start to the month of February.

Elizabeth, Tony, and Mario: We had a couple great lessons with this nice trio. Mario is a less active member, Elizabeth is his fiancé, and Tony is Elizabeth's son. So we stopped by one night and wanted to share the Plan of Salvation but we didn't have time. So we decided to share a smaller message. In our discussion over what was taught, we kept going into the Plan of Salvation! So it was basically a good intro lesson. Then we went back and taught the Plan of Salvation. It was awesome! I taught clearly and effectively and the Spirit was able to testify of what we taught! Elizabeth and Tony are super awesome and they understand what steps they need to take. We set baptismal dates with them both.

Del: This was a tough lesson. He and his teenage daughters have been taught before but the mom was super against it! They are such a good family and after talking to Del, the father, we realized that it would disrupt their current family peace. We talked to him about having us over to do service type stuff, a nonthreatening informal way for the wife to become more comfortable with what her family is teaching and who is teaching it. He is a good man that has taught his family well, he is really receptive to the Spirit, and he has high standards. He would be a great holder of the priesthood but his wife is unsupportive of his decision to grow his faith.

Eugenio: First off, HE CAME TO CHURCH!!!! He is doing better! He is reading the scriptures in his free time and said the most beautiful prayer the other day in our lesson! He loved coming to church and had a great experience! He liked how he was welcomed without being critiqued. His faith is growing and you can see it!

I hope you all have a great week! Count your blessings and remember how merciful the Lord has been!

Love,
Elder Dallin Baker
