This week was awesome!
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: We did service with the Food
Bank! We helped out a ton and they really needed our help! It was great to help
out and get to know the other volunteers more.
Wednesday: We had a missionary broadcast from Salt Lake. It was amazing! I learned a ton! They talked about working with members, ALWAYS testifying of Jesus Christ, and asking for referrals. Elder Chiñas and I are really putting the promises to the test! WE have been constantly testifying of Jesus Christ. We will not leave a door until we testify of Christ. We also are asking everyone for referrals. Everyone we have asked has given us names! We even had a lesson with a young man named JP. He was invited to take the lessons by a young man named Daniel. Daniel helped us teach the lesson too! WE are really seeing things progress and pick up here in Douglas!
Pants and Shirts: We were helping a family move a couch.
Elder Chiñas goes down to pick it up and his pants rip! It was so funny! Also,
to celebrate my 1 year mark, it was in August on 2015... And to celebrate the 1
year mark of Elder Chiñas, Jan 21 2016, we burnt shirts! It was pretty cool and
fun!
Eugenio: He is doing well. Progressing a little slower now
but still progressing. We had a few lessons with him this week and Bishop
Velasco was able to come with us on a lesson, that really helped!
I know that we have inspired leaders. I know that as we
follow the Spirit we will be guided where we need to go, say what we need to
say, and do what we need to do. We will also be blessed as we follow the
guidance of the Holy Ghost.
